Beijing Institute of Technology Chongqing Microelectronics Research Institute is a public institution jointly initiated by the Chongqing Municipality and Beijing Institute of Technology. Based on the nation's significant demand for microelectronics and integrated circuits, leveraging the advantageous disciplines of Beijing Institute of Technology and the industrial foundation of West Yong Microelectronics Park, the institute focuses on innovative research, talent cultivation, and achievements transformation in fields such as micro/nano manufacturing, MEMS intelligent sensing, integrated circuit design, new semiconductor materials, and lightweight photoelectric microsystems. Since its establishment in Chongqing, the institute has actively built talent platforms and aims to form 10 influential research teams within three years and be approved as a national key laboratory.
